Support the Ericsson PAC While Supporting the Charity of Your Choice
To show our appreciation for your PAC membership, Ericsson will match your annual Ericsson PAC contribution dollar-for-dollar with a corporate donation to an eligible 501(c)(3) charity. This is available for a maximum match allowance of up to $1,000 per year.
How it Works
Helping a charity is easy! Click on the drop-down tab entitled “Select Your Charity” under the PAC Match header. There, you will be able to select a 501(c)(3) charity. Ericsson will match the total amount of your calendar year PAC contribution (up to $1,000) to the charity you select. Note that Ericsson’s matching contributions will be made annually in the first quarter of the subsequent year.

Can any Ericsson PAC contributor participate?
Yes! Any current PAC contributor is eligible to participate in the program for matches up to $1,000/year.
What charities qualify?
With exceptions, any charitable organization recognized by the IRS with 501(c)(3) status qualifies for a contribution. Organizations that are of a religious or political nature are not eligible for the PAC match program. For questions on if your charity qualifies, email Ericsson.PAC.mailbox@ericsson.com.
How many charitable organizations may I designate?
You can select one 501(c)(3) organization annually for a matching contribution.
Will I receive a tax deduction for the matching Ericsson contribution?
No. The IRS prohibits PAC donors and corporations from receiving a charitable deduction for PAC Match donations. Even though the contribution is directed to the charity by an employee, the contribution does not come from the employee, and therefore, he or she will not receive a tax deduction. Furthermore, the IRS considers the donations to be an administrative expense of running the PAC and are non-deductible by Ericsson.
Do I have to choose a charity for the PAC Match Program?
No. You may contribute to Ericsson PAC without participating in the PAC Match Program.
